Khammam: The State government has been giving importance to the development of rural road network, stated TRS Lok Sabha floor leader and Khammam MP Nama Nageswara Rao.
He said under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao Telangana State has emerged as the number one State in all the fields. Entire nation was looking towards the State and emulating the schemes introduced by the TRS government.
The MP along with Wyra MLA, lavudya Ramulu Naik laid the foundation stone for laying of BT road between Enkoor and Nacharam in Enkoor mandal in the district on Wednesday. Developing rural roads would in turn boost the village’s development.
The government was making efforts for better road connectivity in rural areas so that it would be helpful to farmers to transport farm produce to agriculture markets, Nageswara Rao said, adding that as an MP he took roads and bridges construction in the district as a priority matter.
Despite the financial crisis caused by Covid-19 pandemic, the State government has ensured implementation of its development and welfare programme without any hindrance. He wanted the public in Telangana to support Chandrashekhar Rao at all times.
ZP Chairman, L Kamalraj, MLC B Lakshminarayana, DCMS Chairman, R Sheshagiri Rao, Marfed vice-Chairman, Borra Rajashekar, Rythu Bandhu Samithi district convener Nallamala Venkateshwar Rao and others were present.
