Hyderabad: Municipal Administration & Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister KT Rama Rao said that Serilingampally constituency witnessed the highest development in the last seven years.
During a review meeting held here on Wednesday, he said, “while new flyovers, underpasses and link roads were completed and brought into use for citizens, many more are under various stages of completion.”
Works taken up including the drinking water supply, strengthening of sewerage network, Strategic Nala Development Plan (SNDP) works to strengthen the stormwater drain network in the city, improving the green cover were some of the works reviewed and discussed during the meeting. On the development of parks, the officials were instructed by the Minister to involve Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and companies.
The meeting was attended by MA&UD Special Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar, Mayor G Vijaya Laxmi, Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi , Member of Legislative Council K Naveen Kumar , GHMC Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar, and other senior officials.
Currently, the flyover from Shilpa Layout to the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Gachibowli Junction, Kothaguda Flyover, foot over bridges at Chanda Nagar and Madinaguda are some among several works underway in Serilingampally zone.
