Dhrutee Indrasen wins Asian under-14 tennis title in Jorhat

Telangana’s Dhrutee Indrasen clinched the Asian Under-14 singles title in Jorhat, beating Arisha Choudhary in the final. She also reached the doubles final, while Hyderabad’s Aheel finished runner-up in boys

Hyderabad: Telangana’s Dhrutee Indrasen won the Asian Tennis Federation Under-14 singles title, defeating Arisha Choudhary 3-6, 6-0, 6-2 in the final at Jorhat (Assam).

The top-seeded Dhrutee earlier defeated Kristi Haloi 6-2, 6-0 in the quarterfinal and Dhyana Morang 6-3, 6-3 in the semifinal.

Dhrutee, along with her doubles partner Ridhima Mullick, also reached the final.

In the boys’ section, Aheel of Hyderabad finished runner-up.
