Dial 112 facility helps tracing missing child in Hyderabad
The Dial-112 facility, operating from the Telangana Command Control Centre, received a distress call from one Karthik, who reported finding a girl child appeared to be lost.

Hyderabad: Swift response from the Dial -112 staff and local police helped in safe tracing and rescue of a six-year-old girl in Shamshabad on Monday.
The Dial-112 facility, operating from the Telangana Command Control Centre, received a distress call from one Karthik, who reported finding a girl child appeared to be lost. The child was unable to provide any details about her family.
The Dial-112 team immediately alerted the local police, and field officers reached the spot. Acting quickly, they reviewed nearby CCTV footage and were able to trace the child’s parents – Arif and Nazma and handed the child safely to them.
It was found that the couple had come to Narkhuda village for daily wage work at a farmhouse, accompanied by their daughter, who had wandered away and gone missing.
The Telangana Police urged citizens to utilize the Dial-112 service during emergencies.
