Hyderabad: There were many Met Gala regulars like Blake Lively-Ryan Reynolds, Selena Gomez, Kylie Jenner, Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Zendaya who skipped the fashion event this year. Nicki Minaj skipped the gala because she isn’t vaccinated.
One among the huge list of people who were absent is supermodel Bella Hadid. The annual event – which took place on Monday (September 13) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City – had a vaccination requirement in order to attend. In New York City, event-goers must now provide proof of the Covid-19 vaccine in order to attend indoor events as per a mandate by Mayor Bill de Blasio.
People assumed those that skipped might not have gotten the vaccine. Bella Hadid is now making her vaccination status clear. Bella posted a photo of her getting a shot from her camera roll on social media, with the date appearing to be August 6. The Victoria’s Secret model captioned the photo, “for anyone concerned,” as per ‘Just Jared’. So, it appears as if Bella is definitely vaccinated!
Bella’s sister Gigi Hadid made quite the statement on the red carpet this year. Wearing a sleek white Prada gown and fiery red ponytail, she made sure she stood out in the crowd.
