Hyderabad: The State government, which is tabling the controversial P C Ghose Commission report on the Kaleshwaram project in the Legislative Assembly on Sunday, has distributed only digital copies to the members.
While pen drives containing the report were given to all MLAs, the government stated that hard copies of the voluminous 650-page report would be provided only to floor leaders of recognised parties.
BRS MLA Vemula Prashanth Reddy objected to the government’s stand, arguing that since BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao had not attended the session in his capacity as Leader of the Opposition, members from his party were denied physical copies.
“They said because KCR garu did not come to the House as Leader of the Opposition, the report copy was not given to us,” he said.
