Director Raghav Omkar Sasidhar thanks audience for embracing ‘The 100’

Hyderabad: Raghav Omkar Sasidhar, the director of the recently released Telugu action drama The 100, has thanked the audiencs and the media for the encouraging response to his debut. The film, featuring RK Sagar, Misha Narang, and Dhanya Balakrishna, has gained attention for blending the police genre with emotional and socially relevant themes.
Sasidhar said that The 100 was never intended to be just a routine cop film. Instead, it aimed to highlight justice, trauma, and the quiet struggles many face. He believes the film’s emotional depth has helped it connect with a wider audience, especially women, many of whom have reached out to share their reactions.
The director also acknowledged the support received from public figures including former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, MLC Naagababu, and senior police officer VC Sajjanar. Anjana Devi, mother of Megastar Chiranjeevi, also conveyed her appreciation.
Sasidhar extended his gratitude to his producers Ramesh Karutoori, Venki Pushadapu, and J Tharak Ram, along with lead actor RK Sagar, for backing his vision and standing by the film throughout its journey.
Looking ahead, the director expressed interest in exploring different genres while continuing to focus on stories with purpose and relevance.
