Komaram Bheem Asifabad: Legislators and leaders who defected from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) to the Congress continue to face challenges, with differences flaring between them and loyal Congress members across various constituencies.

Sirpur’s former MLA Koneru Konappa, who joined the Congress during the 2024 parliamentary elections, alleged that the internal situation in the party was “bad and unbearable.”

In a video now going viral on social media, Konappa is seen addressing his followers. “After we joined the Congress, the party’s vote share increased from 8,000 to 63,000 in the constituency, yet there was no value for us,” he said.

He further claimed that despite their service to the party, the constituency was not receiving adequate support from the government. There was no respect shown to leaders and no allocation of funds, he reportedly stated.

“Groups are being created in the party and a few leaders are abusing us. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had assured to sanction funds for Koutala bridge works, but they have not been released to date,” Konappa said, according to reports.
