According to the police, the deceased Ravi and Pathipaka Bapanna and the accused are neighbours and there was a dispute between both the families over three feet of land

Jagitial: A dispute with neighbour over three feet of land has ended up in the death of a man in Sangampalli of Jagitial rural mandal on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Jalapalli Ravi (50). According to the police, Ravi and Pathipaka Bapanna, the accused, are neighbours. There was a dispute between both the families over three feet of land.


Recently, they again quarreled over the issue after which Bapanna attacked Ravi and his wife Mallavva with a stick. Ravi, who sustained severe head injury in the attack, died on the spot.

Locals shifted Mallavva to Karimnagar district headquarters hospital for better treatment. Police registered a case and started an investigation.
