Disruption in water supply for 24 hours in parts of Hyderabad from May 2 to 3
Water supply will be disrupted for 24 hours in several parts of Hyderabad from 6 am on May 2 due to maintenance works by HMWSSB. Residents in multiple areas may face either no supply or low water pressure.

Hyderabad: There will be no water supply in certain areas of Hyderabad for 24 hours from 6 am on May 2.
The affected areas include Red Hills, Nampally, Mallepally, Sitarambagh, Godeki Qabar, Hindi Nagar, Assembly, Secretariat, New MLA Quarters, Adarsh Nagar, South Central Railway, Nampally, Gunfoundry, Chintal Basti, Vijayanagar Colony, Old Mallepally, Asifnagar, Ahmednagar, Kavadiguda, Gandhinagar, Domalguda and Banjara Hills GHMC wards, which will have no water supply or low-pressure supply.
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), in a press release, said that cleaning works of the old balancing tank with a capacity of 1.36 million litres at Asifnagar Filter Beds will be carried out.
