The Collector was returning to her office in Bhongir after inspecting damages in several villages in Valigonda mandal.

Yadadri-Bhongir: District Collector Anita Ramachandran escaped unhurt when a speeding lorry rammed the vehicle in which she was traveling at Nandanam village in the district on Thursday evening.

The Collector was returning to her office in Bhongir after inspecting damages in several villages in Valigonda mandal. The lorry coming in the opposite direction hit the Collector’s SUV. The vehicle was damaged in the accident but no one was injured. Anita Ramachandran later left for the District Collectorate by another car.


Bhongir rural police filed a case and took up investigation.
