Distribution of nutrition supplement kits for Covid patients launched in Mancherial
Chennur MLA Balka Suman stated that the kit, costing Rs 800 each, consisting of dry fruits, fruits and other supplements were meant to provide nutrition to the patients
Mancherial: Government Whip and Chennur MLA Balka Suman on Tuesday urged Covid patients not to panic and to stay mentally strong. Suman was speaking after distributing nutrition supplement kits to 1,896 Covid patients in the Chennur Assembly constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, Suman said his followers and TRS activists had distributed kits to patients who were undergoing home isolation in Chennur, Mandamarri, Bheemaram, Jaipur, Kotapalli mandals and Ramakrishnapur town. He stated that the kit, costing Rs 800 each, consists of dry fruits, fruits and other supplements meant to provide nutrition to the patients.
He said that the government was extending all support to those who were infected by the deadly virus. He said that better medical facilities were being created in Mancherial district for providing treatment to the patients. He recalled that he had requested the government to increase the quota of testing kits and to carry out vaccination drives in newly-created mandal centres for the convenience of the public.
It may be recalled that Suman had recently extended Rs 1 lakh to six families of TRS activists who lost their breadwinners in Chennur constituency. He expressed condolences to the kin of the victims of the deceased by visiting the families in Ramakrishnapur, Mandamarri, Jaipur and Chennur mandals.
