Doctor rescues accident victim by performing CPR in Nirmal

Nirmal: A doctor working with the district headquarters hospital saved the life of a road accident victim by performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the road here on Thursday.

Dr Chilkuri Venugopalakrishna, Resident Medical Officer of the hospital, provided a new lease of life by conducting CPR on Kishan from Idgah in the town.


He responded quickly when he noticed Kishan lying on the road with bleeding injuries after he fell off his motorbike at Shivaji Chowk in the town. Kishan was later admitted to a hospital in Nizamabad.

His family members and friends thanked Venugopalakrishna for coming to the rescue of a person by showing spontaneity. Venugopalakrishna was praised by his colleagues and family members.
