Kothagudem: Bhadrachalam police booked a case against a government doctor for allegedly treating Covid-19 patients violating the government guidelines.
Bhadrachalam Circle Inspector T Swamy informed that the doctor Krishna Prasad, working at Bhadrachalam Area Hospital Covid-19 ward, was accused of treating Covid patients in his private clinic.
Following a complaint by an individual, the police registered a case and launched investigation.
The Inspector said a probe was also initiated to verify the doctor’s involvement in alleged sale of Remdesivir injections, supplied to government hospitals, to outsiders in Bhadrachalam.
