Hyderabad: The Domalguda police arrested two persons who were allegedly in possession of ganja and seized 18 kilograms of the contraband from them.

The arrested are Komal Sominath Pvar (23) and Sahil Mahesh Salunke (18), both residents of Aurangabad in Maharashtra.

According to the police, Komal and Sahil recently went to Vijayawada, procured 18 kilograms of ganja from one Babu, and came to Hyderabad.

“Komal and Sahil were planning to take it to Aurangabad and sell it at a higher price there to earn profits. When they were waiting for transport at Liberty, they were caught with the ganja,” said DCP (Central) K Shilpavalli.

A case has been registered at Domalguda police station against the duo under the NDPS Act.
