Don’t resort to extreme steps: Srinivas Goud appeals to former Sarpanches
Unable to bear the financial stress and humiliation from the money lenders, many Sarpanches had committed suicides and the State government should be held responsible for their loss, the Joint Action Committee president S Yadaiah Goud said.

Hyderabad: Former Minister V Srinivas Goud appealed to the former Sarpanches not to take any extreme steps and assured them of all support in their fight against the Congress government until all the pending bills were cleared.
Under the aegis of the Telangana State Sarpanches Sangham Joint Action Committee, the former Sarpanches staged a protest at Indira Park here on Friday.
Addressing the gathering, the former Minister demanded that the Congress government clear the pending bills for different development works executed by former Sarpanches in respective panchayats.
Over the last few months, the Sarpanches Joint Action Committee has been submitting several representations to the government to clear their pending bills.
Many Sarpanches had executed development works by securing loans from private money lenders.
