Siddipet: In the wake of Covid-19 cases spike across the State, the district administrations of Siddipet, Sangareddy and Medak have carried out door-to-door fever surveys across the district following the directions of Health Minister T Harish Rao on Friday.
In the Siddipet district, the ANMs and Asha workers, accompanied by Panchayat workers, have visited each and every house in the villages and municipalities. They have commenced the survey at 7 am in the morning. Collector Sanagreddy M Hanumantha Rao and Additional Collector Muzammil Khan have constantly monitored the survey.
The teams distributed the home isolation kits to those suffering from mild symptoms. The survey team has noted down what kind of symptoms the citizens were suffering from at each house. They have sensitised them to wear masks besides asking them to wash their hands frequently.
Saying that there were enough facilities at Government Hospitals to treat the Covid-19 patients, the Collector suggested they not visit the private hospitals since they would charge exorbitantly. The officials were carrying out a similar survey across Sanagreddy and Siddipet districts.
