DOST special phase admission schedule out in Telangana

The Telangana Council of Higher Education has announced the DOST 2026 special phase admission schedule to fill vacant degree seats. Registrations will be open from July 20 to 26, with seat allotment on July 30 and reporting by August 1.

Hyderabad: As a large number of degree seats went abegging, the Telangana Council of Higher Education and the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education on Friday released the DOST 2026 special phase admission schedule to fill vacant seats.

As per the schedule, students can register for admission between July 20 and 26. Candidates claiming admission under the special category (PH/CAP/Sports/Extra-Curricular Activities) have to participate in certificate verification on July 27.

Web options will be available from July 20 to 27, and students have been urged to exercise as many web options as possible to secure a seat. Provisional seat allotment will be released on July 30, and candidates have to self-report online between July 30 and August 1, and report to the allotted college either on July 31 or August 1.

Students who registered on DOST and could not get a seat are eligible to participate in the special phase using their earlier DOST ID and PIN. The special phase is also open to students who have not registered on DOST till date. They can register now by paying Rs. 400. Students who have already confirmed their seat through the college confirmation OTP are not eligible for the special phase admissions.
