Hyderabad: At a time when Prabhas fans are deprived of their favourite star’s action on the screen, his another pan-India film ‘Salaar’ has got postponed. Although there has been no official announcement from the makers, the news has certainly come as a double whammy for die-hard fans.
Now his romantic period drama ‘Radhe Shyam’ has already been pushed to further date due to the Omicron’s surge, fans will have nothing to cheer about in the coming summer.
Following a spike in Covid cases during the third wave, all pan-India films at the box office have been postponed inordinately. So has ‘Radhe Shyam’. Going by the reports, ‘Salaar’ is likely to get postponed to next year.
It is learnt that the makers are planning to release ‘Salaar’ in April next year. Directed by Prashant Neel, the film has done 50 percent of the shoot. The remaining part is expected to begin only after things return normalcy.
Since Prabhas has no work on hand as he already finished shooting for ‘Adipurush’ and ‘Radhe Shyam’, he could now focus entirely on wrapping up ‘Salaar’. The last leg of the shoot will be a smooth sail as director Neel too has wrapped up with ‘KGF Chapter 2’.
