DPS Nacharam: Celebrating the harvest
A variety of activities like Rangoli and kite making were organised to provide a wonderful platform for the students to explore their creativity.
The festival of Makar Sankranti was celebrated with pomp and joy by the students of Senior Secondary section of Delhi Public School, Nacharam. The event began with a soulful rendition of prayer, followed by the colourful songs and dances that captured the essence of Indian culture. An insightful video on Sankranti Bharat Darshan, a look at the various ways of celebrating the harvest festival across the different States of India was the highlight.
School Principal Sunitha Rao’s message of the harvest festival made the young minds express their gratitude to farmers who never stop working on the fields even during these hard times.
