DPS Nacharam: Channelising potential of youth for nation building

In accordance with the Union Government’s directive of celebrating Swami Vivekananda’s birthday as National Youth Day, Delhi Public School, Nacharam paid homage to the great personality by organising an online session for students.

DSP Nacharam Principal Sunitha S Rao welcomed the guests. Swami Bodhmayanandaji, Director, Vivekanand Institute of Human Excellence, instilled inspiration in the students through his moving words about Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy and the importance it held in today’s world.

The Chief Guest of the day Pratap Chandra Sarangi, Minister of State Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries & Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, imparted pearls of wisdom which were much cherished by all those present. Sharad Sagar, CEO, Dexterity Global, the guest of honour, in his speech gave invaluable advice on how one can apply Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy to lead a more fulfilling life which proved to be an unparalleled source of motivation.

Earlier, the event started on an auspicious note with the lighting of the lamp. Anirudh, alumni of DPS Nacharam furthered the austerity of the meet by a melodious rendition of Murta Maheswara. Sarayu of class XI left the audience spellbound through her graceful steps fitted to the transfixing tune of Swagatam Krishna.
