DPS Nacharam: Students feted for academic excellence
The award ceremony was held on November 26 with an inaugural programme to celebrate the success of the student achievers in academic excellence.
Success is to be celebrated and acknowledged and this is something Delhi Public School Nacharam takes pride in. It was a proud moment of celebration for those students who were awarded a Scholar Badge for securing an overall A+ Grade for three consecutive years and an Academic Proficiency Award for the students with an overall A+ in the previous academic year.
The award ceremony was held on November 26 with an inaugural programme to celebrate the success of the student achievers in academic excellence. The event began with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, followed by Edutalks by a few students. Principal Sunitha Rao addressed students and parents and congratulated all of them. She encouraged students to be consistent and continue working towards their dreams with the same zeal.
Headmistress Sudha also shared her inspiring thoughts and motivated the students to keep performing better every day not only in academics but also in extracurricular activities.Grace Andrea Montoya Rojas, who is currently the Director of Ingeos SAS in Colombia, South America and Research Professor at the University., was the chief guest for the event.
She is also an Agrologist with rich contributions to her field of study. Grace congratulated student achievers and also interacted with them. She also shared a presentation on her research work. All students were awarded E-certificates for their achievements. The event then concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Class V coordinator Smitha Singh.
