DPS Nadergul: Cherishing the goals of makers of the Indian Constitution
The Government of India declared November 26 as Constitution Day on 19 November 2015 by a gazette notification.

Delhi Public School, Nadergul celebrated Constitution Day with patriotic fervour and joy. Constitution Day is celebrated on November 26 to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26 November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, and it came into effect on 26 January 1950.
The Government of India declared November 26 as Constitution Day on 19 November 2015 by a gazette notification. The Department of Social Science organised various activities to highlight the significance of Constitution Day and to emphasize the need to adhere to this esteemed scripture and follow it.
Class-wise specific activities like role play, speech and comparison of the Indian Constitution were organised which saw active participation from students. Also, students shared their views about the drafting of the Constitution and the amendments or changes in the Constitution from time to time. The focus of the celebrations was to guide the students to be well informed and duty-bound throughout their journey to cherish the goals of our Constitution makers, the school said.
