Hyderabad: Dr D Nageshwar Reddy, Chairman, AIG Hospitals, has been elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE), one of the highest professional distinctions accorded to leaders in medical and biological engineering worldwide.
Election to the AIMBE College of Fellows is reserved for the top 2% of medical and biological engineers globally, recognising individuals who have made outstanding contributions to research, innovation, and the translation of science into clinical practice.
Dr Reddy now joins an elite global group that includes Nobel Laureates, recipients of the US National Medal of Science and National Medal of Technology, and members of leading scientific academies.
Responding to the recognition, Dr Reddy said, “We are today at the cusp of a transformative era, where indigenous development of advanced medical technologies, driven by our clinical insights, engineering talent, and growing AI capabilities, can redefine how healthcare is delivered, not just in India but globally.”
