Dr Devesh Nigam appointed as new Registrar of UoH
Hyderabad: Dr. Devesh Nigam has been appointed as the Registrar of the University of Hyderabad (UoH) and he joined the office Wednesday. Hyderabad: Dr. Devesh Nigam has been appointed as the Registrar of the University of Hyderabad (UoH) and he joined the office Wednesday.
Earlier, Dr. Nigam worked in the positions of Controller of Examinations, Joint Registrar and Deputy Registrar at the UoH. He also served as Finance and Accounts Officer in Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and as Deputy Registrar (Administration) at Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, the UoH said.
A graduate in science from Kanpur University, Dr. Nigam also has a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Human Resource from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
He has done his PhD in Educational Management from the Indian Institute of Technology- Hyderabad and has overall 23 years of administrative experience, the release added.
