Dr Nageshwar Reddy to deliver Shirodkar Memorial Lecture
The lecture, which is being organised by the Telangana Academy of Sciences, honours the legacy of Dr Manohar VN Shirodkar through an endowment established by Indira Devi Dhanrajgir
Hyderabad: Founder and chairman of Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG) Hospitals, Dr D Nageshwar Reddy, who was recently conferred with Padma Vibhushan, will deliver Dr Manohar VN Shirodkar Memorial Lecture on the topic of “Artificial Intelligence in Health Care” at Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) on Wednesday, Dr Ch Mohan Rao, president, Telangana Academy of Sciences (TAS), said.
The lecture, which is being organised by the TAS, honours the legacy of Dr Shirodkar through an endowment established by Indira Devi Dhanrajgir.
“Dr Reddy’s extensive experience in gastroenterology, his pioneering work at AIG, and his numerous accolades, including multiple ASGE Crystal Awards, position him as a leading voice on this subject. The lecture is intended to disseminate knowledge, stimulate research, and benefit students, researchers, and the public alike, furthering the Academy’s mission to promote science and public well-being,” Dr Ch Mohan Rao, former director, CSIR-CCMB, added.
