Dr. Raju Bolla appointed as new IGNOU Hyderabad Regional Director
Dr. Raju Bolla, a native of Warangal district, has taken charge as Regional Director of IGNOU Hyderabad. A Botany Ph.D. from Kakatiya University, he aims to boost higher education access in remote and tribal areas through distance learning.

Hyderabad: Dr. Raju Bolla has been appointed as the new regional director of Indira Gandhi National University (IGNOU) Hyderabad Regional Center, which is the first regional center of the IGNOU. He took charge here on Monday.
Dr. Raju who hails from Suripalli village, Nekkonda mandal, Warangal district, completed his PG and Ph.D. in Botany from Kakatiya University, Warangal
After working as a lecturer at ABV College, Jangaon, Dr Raju served as the assistant regional director of IGNOU Trivandrum Regional Center, Kerala in 2011. He was later transferred to IGNOU Hyderabad Regional Center and served as the Deputy Director till 2023.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Raju said he aims to increase the enrollment of students in higher education from the State, especially in remote, tribal and tribal areas where distance education is not available.
