Dr Ramesh Reddy appointed as in-charge Vice-Chancellor of KNRUHS

Dr K Ramesh Reddy, Principal of Government Medical College, Bhongir, has been appointed in-charge Vice-Chancellor of KNRUHS, Warangal. Former in-charge DME (2017–2023) and Niloufer Hospital Superintendent, he contributed significantly to Telangana’s COVID-19 response

Hyderabad: The State government on Friday has appointed the Principal of Government Medical College, Bhongir, Dr K Ramesh Reddy, as in-charge Vice-Chancellor of Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, with immediate effect.

Before getting transferred to Bhongir, Dr Ramesh Reddy held the position of in-charge Director of Medical Education (DME), Telangana for six years from 2017 to 2023 and had played a key role in the State Health department’s response to Covid pandemic.


Dr Ramesh Reddy also held the position of Superintendent of Niloufer Hospital.
