Dr Sadashivudu Gundeti appointed in-charge director of MNJ Cancer Hospital
The State government has appointed Dr Sadashivudu Gundeti, Professor at NIMS, as the in-charge Director of MNJ Cancer Hospital in Red Hills. The appointment takes immediate effect and replaces Dr. Joseph Benjamin, who previously held the position.
Hyderabad: The State government on Saturday has appointed Professor and Head of Medical Oncology, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Dr Sadashivudu Gundeti, as in-charge Director of Mehdi Nawaz Jung Institute of Oncology and Regional Cancer Centre (MNJIO & RCC), Red Hills.
Until now, Dr Joseph Benjamin, Professor in Radiotherapy, had been serving as the in-charge Director at MNJ Cancer Hospital.
According to the GO issued by the State government, the additional responsibilities have been assigned to Dr Sadashivudu due to administrative reasons. The appointment of Dr Sadashivudu as in-charge Director of MNJ Cancer Hospital comes into effect immediately and will continue until further orders are issued.
