Hyderabad: DraperU India, a startup accelerator affiliated with the global Draper University network, organised an exclusive workshop titled “Building Influence Through Storytelling” for founders, entrepreneurs and creators at its Gachibowli campus on Friday.
The invite-only workshop brought together around 50 selected founders, entrepreneurs and creators to explore how storytelling has emerged as a key tool for building influence, trust and strong personal and business brands in today’s creator-driven economy.
Designed as an interactive learning experience, the workshop focused on storytelling not merely as a communication tool but as a strategic advantage for entrepreneurs navigating the rapidly evolving digital and creator economy. Participants gained practical insights into developing authentic narratives that resonate with audiences, create opportunities and strengthen both personal and business brands.
Dr Mani Pavitra, founder of CreatorVerse and a two-time TEDx speaker, spoke on how founders can leverage storytelling to create meaningful impact and establish credibility in the creator economy. Mili Kataria, founder of Pandora’s Box, delivered a session titled “The Brand Called You”, highlighting the importance of authenticity and personal branding in an increasingly competitive digital landscape. Abhinav Natte, founder of ReelOnGo, concluded the workshop with “The Creator Economy Playbook”, sharing practical strategies on using content, storytelling and community building to unlock growth and business opportunities.
According to the organisers, the initiative reflects DraperU India’s commitment to equipping entrepreneurs with skills that extend beyond product development and fundraising by focusing on communication, influence and founder-led storytelling.
The workshop was conceptualised and coordinated by Snehaa G from DraperU India’s Founder’s Office. The organisers said the invite-only format encouraged meaningful interactions, knowledge sharing and networking among participants within Hyderabad’s growing startup ecosystem.
The event was organised in collaboration with Communitie Hyderabad, ReelOnGo, TG10X, Ground Zero, Studlyf, Chitralai and StarBuzz AI. The organisers said such initiatives would help nurture founders who not only build impactful companies but also communicate their vision with clarity, authenticity and influence.
