Drinking water supply to be partially disrupted on February 1 in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: There will be partial disruption in drinking water supply in several parts of the city on February 1 from 10 am to 4 pm.

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board in a press release informed the consumers that the 132 KV bulk load feeder PT at Nasarlapalli Substation has undergone repairs and the TG Transco officials will carry out repairs on February 1.


This will cause partial disruption in drinking water supply for six hours in the areas covered by the reservoirs and supplied from Krishna Phase-1, 2, 3.

The areas affected by partial outage include Miralam, Kishan Bagh, Aljubail Colony, Shastripuram, Santosh Nagar, Vinay Nagar, Saidabad, Chanchalguda, Asman Garh, Yakutpura, Madannapet, Mahbub Mansion, Bhojagutta, Sheikhpet, Boggulkunta, Afzalgunj, Allabanda, Narayanguda, Adikmet, Shivam Road, Chilkalguda.

The other affected areas are Jubilee Hills, Film Nagar, Prashasan Nagar, Tarnaka, Lalapet, Boudhnagar, Maredpally, Railways, MES, Cantonment, Prakash Nagar, Patigadda, Riasat Nagar, Aliabad, Bandlaguda, Hasmatpet, Ferozguda, Gautam Nagar, Saheb Nagar, Vaishalinagar, Alkapuri, BN Reddy Nagar, Vanasthalipuram, Autonagar.

According to the press release, the water supplies will also be affected at Mahendra Hills, Ramanthapur, Uppal, Nacharam, Habsiguda, Chilkanagar, Devender Nagar, Gachibowli, Madhapur, Ayyappa Society, Durganagar, Budvel, Golden Heights, Hardware Park, Gandhamguda, Boduppal, Mallikarjuna Nagar, Chengicherla, Bharat Nagar, Anand Nagar cross-roads, Peerzadiguda, Meerpet, Kurmaguda, Lenin Nagar and Badangpet.

The water board urged the consumers of the affected areas to use water sparingly.
