Driver, bike owner held for fatal road crash in Hyderabad
The police had booked a case against D.Madhu, (21) the driver and the vehicle owner, Pradeep for culpable homicide not amounting to murder and arrested them.
Hyderabad: The Miyapur police on Friday arrested two persons in connection with the road crash resulting in the death of a young pillion rider on a bike on Tuesday night. Officials said the driver did not have a valid driving license nor a helmet, while the pillion rider too was not wearing a helmet.
The police had booked a case against D.Madhu, (21) the driver and the vehicle owner, Pradeep for culpable homicide not amounting to murder and arrested them.
Police said Madhu, who was driving the bike rashly with Karunakar (22) riding pillion, lost control and crashed into the road median resulting in Karunakar dying on the spot.
Madhu had no valid driving license, was not wearing a helmet and drove the bike rashly leading to the mishap. Pradeep who was aware of the fact that Madhu had no license, allowed him to drive his vehicle, officials said, adding that the two were produced before court and remanded in judicial custody.
