Driver dies in a road accident in Peddapalli
A lorry driver died and two cleaners were injured when a lorry and a container collided on Rajiv Rahadari near Sultanabad. Police rescued the trapped cleaners and sent them to hospital.
Peddapalli: A lorry driver died and two others were injured in a road accident that took place on Rajiv Rahadari at Shastrynagar on the outskirts of Sultanabad town on Friday.
The incident occurred when a lorry and a container coming from opposite directions rammed into each other. While the driver of one vehicle died on the spot, the cleaners of both vehicles got stuck in the cabins as the front portions of the vehicles were damaged beyond recognition.
On learning about the incident, police rushed to the spot, retrieved the cleaners from the cabins and shifted them to a hospital for treatment.
