Hyderabad: The Banjara Hills police arrested a man who escaped with the luxury car of his employer here on Thursday.

The arrested suspect M Gundappa (35), a resident of Puppalaguda in Manikonda has been working as a car driver for Madhusudan Kakani, managing director of Manjushree Polymers, since 2019.


Police said Gundappa gained the trust of Madhusudan in the last two years and taking advantage of it, plotted to steal the luxury car and sell it to make money. Last week, Gundappa in the absence of his employer, stole the car and had been absconding since then.

Based on a complaint, a case was booked and with the help of scientific evidence, he was arrested and car was recovered.
