Driver injured as container truck crashes into road median, causing traffic jam at Lakdi-ka-Pul

Hyderabad: The driver of a heavy container escaped with minor injuries when the vehicle went out of control and crashed into the road median at Lakdi-ka-pul junction on Friday morning.
The incident occurred at 4.30 am when the container truck was going at a high speed from Sanathnagar to Katedan via Mehdipatnam.
As per available information, the container truck was transporting newspaper bundle rolls.
The driver lost control of the steering wheel while negotiating a curve at Lakdi-ka-pul.
The injured driver was shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment.
The accident led to traffic congestion on the busy route.
On receiving information, the traffic police rushed to the scene of the incident and towed away the container truck with a heavy crane and cleared the traffic.
