Jagtial: Drivers of two lorries were severely injured in a head-on collision near Kondagattu early on Friday. The impact was such that the drivers got stuck in the cabins of the vehicles. The drivers were identified as Devilal and Veeraiah.

The incident occurred when marble and cotton-laden lorries, heading in opposite directions, rammed each other. Cabins of both the vehicles were completely damaged in the incident.

Police rushed to the spot and rescued the drivers by opening cabins with the help of JCBs. The duo was shifted to Jagtial government hospital. The condition of both drivers is said to be serious.
