Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Two drivers were killed on the spot and the cleaner sustained injuries when two trucks collided with each other on the outskirts of Rebbena mandal centre in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district on Wednesday.
According to the Rebbena police, the deceased were identified as Suresh Namdev Jatve (32), a native of Bodidi village in Kinwat of Nanded and Prasanth Tukaram Lendugure (40) from Gadchiroli district in Maharashtra. The injured was Aman Ramtenki, the cleaner, also from Gadchiroli district.

While Namdev was heading to Nagpur from Devapur, carrying cement bags, Prasanth was proceeding to Sultanabad from Gadchiroli district by maize laden truck.
Paliad Wathan Singh, the brother-in-law of Suresh, lodged a complaint with the police. A case was registered against Prasanth under sections 304(A) (Causing death by negligence) and 337 (Causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Indian Penal Code. Investigations were taken up.
