Drones to be used to monitor Ganesh Shobha Yatra in Ramagundam

Besides drones, CCTV cameras will also be used to complete the immersion process in a peaceful manner.

Peddapalli: The Ramagundam commissionerate police have decided to utilize drones to monitor the Ganesh Shobha Yatra as well as immersion process.

Besides drones, CCTV cameras will also be used to complete the immersion process in a peaceful manner. Commissioner of Police, M Srinivasulu on Sunday visited immersion points in Peddapalli zone and examined arrangements. He visited Mini tank bund in Peddapalli town, Sultanabad tank, Godavarikhi river near Manthani town and Godavari bridge near Godavarikhani coal belt town.


Besides tight security arrangements, road repairs, flood lights, cranes, drinking water and other facilities were arranged at immersion points in coordination with other government departments. Professional swimmers were also deployed at immersion points, he said.

Flexies along with Shobha yatra route maps as well as traffic diversions will be arranged in different places, he informed and asked Ganesh celebration committees to cooperate with the police department.
