Hyderabad: A drug peddler was arrested by the Gudimalkapur police on Tuesday and 3.5 kg of ganja seized from him.
According to Mohd Munawar, ACP Kulsumpura, the suspect Pallapati Narendra alias Nani, a native of Arundhati colony in Bapatla in A.P, and resident of Karwan had procured the weed from a person Ram Singh of A.P, for Rs. 1 lakh and brought it to the city recently.
He sold a portion of the ganja to three people Chinna, Chotu Singh, and Chinna bhai. “Narendra was caught with the 3.5 kilogram of ganja. Efforts are on to nab the remaining four persons who are absconding,” said the ACP.
A case is registered.
