Drunk auto driver ferrying schoolchildren booked in Hyderabad’s Goshamahal
A 35-year-old auto-rickshaw driver transporting schoolchildren was caught driving under the influence of alcohol during a special traffic check in Goshamahal. With a BAC level of 60 mg/100 ml, he was booked for endangering human life and public safety.

HYDERABAD: The traffic police caught an auto-rickshaw driver who was transporting schoolchildren while under the influence of alcohol. A criminal case was registered against him at the Goshamahal police station.
According to the police, the driver, Shaik Ismail (35), was caught during a special drunken-driving check conducted by the traffic police at Goshamahal. His blood alcohol concentration (BAC) level was recorded at 60 mg/100 ml.
The traffic police handed over the driver to the Goshamahal police, who registered a criminal case against him for endangering human life and the safety of others.
