Drunk driver arrested for death of friend

Hyderabad: A 29-year-old man was arrested by the Chevella police for his involvement in a road accident.
The arrested person, Manki Maraiah (36), allegedly rode his motorcycle last month in an inebriated condition leading to the bike skidding and Borra Sailu (29), who was pillion riding, suffering serious injuries. Sailu died on the spot. Maraiah did not have a valid driving license either, police said.
Maraiah who was under treatment after the accident was arrested on Friday night after being discharged from the hospital. He was produced before court and remanded.
