Medak: In a shocking incident, a man killed his elder brother in a drunken state at a toddy compound at Amsanpally in Kulcharam mandal on Friday. The deceased Ramavath Mangya Nayak (48) and his younger brother Mohan picked up an argument over a financial issue.

An angry Mohan picked up a toddy bottle and attacked him indiscriminately. Those who were consuming toddy were seen taking a video of the entire episode instead of stopping him. Though they asked him to stop, Mohan went on attacking until Mangya became lifeless.

The police, who rushed to the spot following a call from villagers, took the accused into custody. Meanwhile, Mohan accused Mangya of performing black magic against his family. A case was registered. The probe is on.
