Drunk man stabs friend in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A man was stabbed by his friend in an inebriated condition at Suraram colony Jeedimetla late on Tuesday night.

Police said Anudeep, a resident of the TSIIC colony, was in an inebriated condition and called his friend Venugopal alias Chintu from Shapurnagar and started a casual talk.

Eventually, the conversation turned serious and both started abusing each other.

“Following the heated argument, Anudeep, in an inebriated condition went to Venugopal and stabbed him with a knife. Venugopal was shifted to the hospital where his condition is said to be stable. The Jeedimetla police have booked a case and arrested Anudeep.
