Siddipet: The Gouraram police have arrested a man, who allegedly vandalised idols of various deities installed on the premises of thePeddamma Talli Temple at Singaipally village in Wargal mandal.

The accused, Koppoju Venkataswamy Chary (30), a resident of Singaipally, is said to have entered the temple premises in an inebriated condition on Tuesday and vandalised the deities.


Following a complaint, the Gouraram police identified the accused after examining CCTV footage and took him into custody.

In a press statement, Gajwel ACP Purushottam Reddy said that they would produce the accused before court after a thorough enquiry.
