Dubbak MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy placed under house arrest

Due to a suspicion that Prabhakar Reddy would support the government employees' protests on GO317, the police did not allow him to go out of his house

Siddipet: The Madhapur police placed Dubbak MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy under house arrest at his Kondapur residence in Hyderabad while he was preparing to proceed to his constituency headquarters on Wednesday morning.

Due to a suspicion that Prabhakar Reddy would support the government employees’ protests on GO317, the police did not allow him to go out of his house.

However, Reddy was allowed to travel to his office located at Madhapur with a police escort after an hour.

In a video released by his office, Reddy questioned why he was made to sit at home.
