Hyderabad: The BJP State unit has countered the TRS’ contention that the saffron party was conspiring to incite violence in Hyderabad prior to Dubbak poll.

BJP State general secretary G Premender Reddy, in a letter to the Election Commission of India and the Director General of Police Mahender Reddy on Sunday, said the comments and statements made by TRS Working President KT Rama Rao were “provocative, biased and intended to threaten the BJP State president and its leaders.”

“By virtue of these statements, the State police are arresting all ranks of BJP which is highly condemnable,” he said.
