Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘Aakasamlo Oka Tara’ launched; Promises another telugu blockbuster

Hyderabad: Mollywood star Dulquer Salmaan is set to captivate Telugu audiences once again with his upcoming film, Aakasamlo Oka Tara.
Directed by Prema Ishq Kaadhal fame Pavan Sadineni, the film was officially launched with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Debutant Satvika Veeravalli, an Indian-origin techie based in the US, will play the female lead.
The film is produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam and presented by Swapna Cinema. Further details about the project are yet to be announced.

Dulquer has built a strong fan base in Telugu cinema since Mahanati, thanks to his unique charm and accent. His previous Telugu films—Mahanati, Sita Ramam and Lucky Baskhar—were all blockbusters.

With high expectations surrounding his fourth Telugu film, fans are eager to see what new element he brings to the screen this time.

This film is special because it marks Dulquer Salmaan’s 40th movie in his 13-year career. Interestingly, today, February 3, 2025, is exactly 13 years since his debut film, Second Show, was released on February 3, 2012.

Dulquer has acted in many films across different languages, including Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi and Tamil. Some of his most popular movies, loved by audience in all languages, include Ustad Hotel, Bangalore Days, Vikramadithyan, O Kadhal Kanmani (Ok Bangaram), Charlie, Kurup, Salute, Karawaan and Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal (Kanulu Kanulu Dochayante), along with his Telugu blockbuster.

Meanwhile, Dulquer is also working on his Tamil film Kaantha, which is currently in production.
