DV Srinivas Rao assumes charge as Director (Technical) of Bharat Dynamics Limited

Hyderabad: DV Srinivas Rao has assumed charge as Director (Technical) of Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a leading public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
Srinivas Rao brings with him over three decades of extensive experience in the defence sector, having held key leadership roles at BDL. Prior to this appointment, he served as General Manager (Design & Engineering), where he led the in-house Research and Development (R&D) Division of BDL. During his career, Srinivas Rao played a pivotal role in spearheading numerous defence projects, many of which are now deployed and extensively used by the Indian Armed Forces.
He has closely collaborated with several Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) labs, contributing to the successful execution of numerous projects for BDL. He was also instrumental in establishing the state-of-the-art Electronics Division at BDL, which now produces critical sub-systems for various weapon systems used by India’s defence forces.
He is a BTech in Electronics & Instrumentation from Kakatiya University and an MTech in Digital Systems and Computer Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad. Subsequently, he has pursued his MBA in Human Resources from Osmania University and is a certified Project Management Professional.
