Hyderabad: The EAGLE Force team will issue a Look Out Circular (LoC) for all the suspects, including the foreign nationals Seung Ahh Woo (Korean national), Steve and Eric (both American nationals), Jay and Jhenny (both UK nationals), who are involved in the international hydroponic cannabis smuggling racket.

Director, EAGLE Force, Sandeep Shandilya, said that the foreign nationals were working in association with Sudhanshu Pramod Keluskar and Hemag Pramod Keluskar, who were main Indians involved in the illicit business and partnered with different individuals in Thailand to grow hydroponic cannabis and smuggle it into India.

“Initially, a Look Out Circular is issued against all the suspects involved in the case to prevent them from fleeing the country. If any of the suspects is operating from abroad, we will get a Red Corner Notice issued against them,” said Sandeep Shandilya.

The police, during investigation, found that the suspects have flown several times to Thailand as part of their business. “The cannabis was smuggled into the country mainly through different airports and shifted to Mumbai, primarily by buses or private transport,” said the official.

Sandeep Shandilya said that they will be cooperating with the other law enforcement agencies to reach a conclusion of the case and ensure all the suspects, irrespective of their social status, are caught.

The official said that the Keluskar’s were planning to start a club in the Gachibowli area on the lines of the one operated by them in Thailand and had visited the city to see the land and check feasibility.
