EAGLE Team arrests most-wanted drug trafficker Habeeb in Kerala
Hafsal Chandunapparambil Habeeb, a most-wanted drug trafficker supplying ecstasy, cocaine, MDMA, and OG Weed in Telangana, was arrested in Kerala by the EAGLE team. His arrest disrupts the inter-state narcotics supply chain.
Hyderabad: A most-wanted drug trafficker who was absconding in several drug cases in the State was apprehended by the Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE) team on Wednesday.
Hafsal Chandunapparambil Habeeb, a resident of Thrissur district of Kerala, was wanted in narcotics cases registered in Golconda, Chaitanyapuri and Punjagutta police stations in the city.
“Habeeb was supplying ecstasy pills, cocaine, MDMA, and OG Weed to the local drug suppliers in the city. He was absconding for a long time, and a special team managed to nab him in Kerala after a meticulous operation,” said an official of EAGLE team.
He was previously running a hotel in Goa and since started the drug business and is supplying narcotics to Telangana drug traffickers. “With the arrest of Habeeb, the inter-state supply chain is broken,” added the official.
